Black Death

Black Death, directed by Christopher Smith, is a haunting historical horror film set against the grim backdrop of medieval England during the time of the Black Plague. Set in the 14th century, Black Death portrays a world ravaged by the terrifying spread of the bubonic plague. Amidst the chaos, fear, and widespread death, Osmund—a novice monk—finds himself at a crossroads. Torn between his deep faith in God and his growing love for a mysterious woman, he is sent on a mission that forces him to confront both his spiritual convictions and emotional turmoil. The mission begins when news surfaces about a remote village that has allegedly remained untouched by the plague—an anomaly that captures the attention of both the Church and local authorities.

Osmund is recruited by a group of mercenaries led by the ruthless Ulric (Sean Bean) to investigate the village and uncover its secrets.
