Turok: Origins is an upcoming third-person co-op shooter developed by Saber Interactive in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences. Announced at The Game Awards 2024, this title revives the classic dinosaur-hunting franchise for a new generation. Set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the game introduces players to the legendary Turok warriors who must battle ferocious dinosaurs and a menacing alien threat aiming to annihilate humanity.
In Turok: Origins, players can engage in intense combat either solo or cooperatively with up to three players. The game features a variety of weapons, including plasma rifles, ray guns, snipers, bows, and shotguns. A unique gameplay element involves extracting DNA from defeated enemies to unlock powerful abilities and upgrade the Turok’s biomorphic suits in real-time. These DNA powers not only enhance combat capabilities but also add a strategic layer to battles. The storyline takes players across diverse and treacherous environments, from ancient temples to dense jungles, as they unravel mysteries crucial to saving humanity.
