This crime thriller, based on the novel by Jeffery Deaver, follows Lincoln Rhyme (Washington), a brilliant but paralyzed forensic expert, who teams up with rookie cop Amelia Donaghy (Jolie) to track down a serial killer targeting subway passengers.

Washington delivers a restrained yet commanding performance as the sharp, cynical Rhyme. Jolie brings intensity and determination to the role of Amelia, creating a compelling investigative duo. Queen Latifah also plays a solid supporting role as the medical technician who aids their efforts.
