Apu and Ned Flanders have intriguing casting choices in the most recent live-action adaptation of The Simpsons. Although there have been a number of widely shared ideas about how to cast a live-action Simpsons, the most popular choices are typically well-known comedians like Adam Sandler as Homer and an A-list performer like Courteney Cox as Marge. Because Springfield has so many supporting characters, the more intriguing choices are usually the ones that stand out.
The trailer begins like a usual intro for The Simpsons. Like other recent A.I.-generated trailers, it includes some dry narration that pokes fun at the town of Springfield and its residents. Marge is also seen wielding a gun, which is a bit of a deep cut to a notable plot in the series where she ends up keeping one in her purse.
